Farmaajo's Policy of Revenge

The blueprint of the somali Government turned out to be the use of all institutions under their control, particularly finance, security, and judiciary institutions as instruments of partisan, domination, and revenge. Somali government has openly used courts to prosecute political opponents and NISA to arrest, threaten, harass or assassinate anyone suspected of being disloyal to the rulers.
Government security agents raided the home of former Presidential candidate Abdirahman Abdishakur injuring and arresting him after killing all five his bodyguards who were from Somali National Army (NSA) with no acceptable explanation.
The raid was executed by well trained NISA elite force trained by western partners for anti-terrorism operations. Mr. Abdishakur is chairman of Wadajir party and formerly political advisor to UN Secretary General Special Representative for Somalia. President Farmaajo fired immediately the judge who declared government raid illegal.
Somali Government revenge visited other political leaders. Two Former Somali Presidents Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Hassan Sheilh Mohamud and their delegations have been blocked from traveling to Kismayo and Beledweyne by Somali Goverment.
The use of government power as a tool of revenge, oppression, domination, is not merely an occasional matter of Farmajo’s government. It is an explicitly articulated public philosophy and policy.
